"Stem Cell Bank" Ltd. (formerly SIA Activsion Life) in Latvia was founded as a Danish company Activision Life International AS subcontractor in the 14th February 2004. Scope is associated with stem cells from umbilical cord pick-up and continuous maintenance. Activision Life International AS is the first in Europe and the world's third private cell bank. The most important additional activities are to support research related to stem cell applications. Merged since October 1, 2007 we ensure the preservation of stem cells for stem cell bank in Poland, which is established in 2002. Poland stem cell bank in 2002, in collaboration with the Child Health Institute, opened in the laboratory with the specially prepared rooms for umbilical cord blood preparation, freezing and storage. 2003rd In Poland, the stem cell bank has achieved status of a joint stock company. Stem cell bank in Warsaw established a Medical and Scientific Council, composed of hematology, transplantation, blood transfusion, gynecology and obstetrics specialists.Medical and Scientific Board also supports medical scientific activity. In May 2003 the Polish stem cell bank was held by internal and external audits conducted by the National Blood Center and hematology. This confirmed that the bank's service and activities comply with quality standards, legislation in force in the country and the European Union. Such audits are conducted annually to ensure the highest standards of cells taking, transportation, preparation and preservation. 2003rd At the end of the Polish stem cell bank signed an agreement with the Institute of Hematology and transfusion Warsaw. The agreement guarantees that the Institute takes over the supervision on the retention of stem cell samples where taken for further stem cell maintenance in the bank is not possible. The stem cell bank is the only one in Poland, which provides full insurance for the retention of cell samples, as well as the insured bank's activities. In 2003 the Polish stem cell bank launched a collaboration with the Stem Cell Bank in America.Thus, New Jersey Blood Service stem cell laboratory director Zbigniew Mrowiec Rogers / Roger Zbignew Mrowiec / become our bank Medical and Scientific Board members. |
