We have pleasure to inform that following several preliminary works and audits the Polish Stem Cell Bank was granted ISO 9001:2000 certificate on the 16 December 2004. This certificate is granted by the Lloyd Register Quality Assurance in UK. It means that the European standard of quality control is observed. It includes stem cells derived from the umbilical cord blood collection, preparation, freezing, and storage in our bank. The Polish Stem Cell Bank as the only company of this type in Poland undergoes annual audits with regard to the quality control and conformity of collection, preparation, freezing, and storage of stem cells derived from the cord blood with the actual standards. Up-to-date, two performed audits (in 2003 and 2004) confirm the high quality of all procedures, and their conformity with the regulations in force.
